Getting started

1. Install the player

Download and install the Signagio app on your media player, Android TV, or supported device from the Download page.

Open the app. It will show a device code (or pairing flow) on screen.

2. Sign in to the admin dashboard

Use your Signagio account to open the admin web console in a browser.

3. Create a screen

  1. Go to Screens (or equivalent in your menu).
  2. Choose Add screen (or New screen).
  3. Enter a name, orientation (horizontal / vertical), and the device code shown on the TV.
  4. Optionally add tags to organise screens later.
  5. Save the screen.

The device should now be linked to that screen record in your account.

4. Choose a layout (optional)

Open layout for the screen and pick a template—for example:

  • One playlist full screen
  • Side by side or split layouts with two or more zones
  • Four zones, or layouts with a bottom ticker zone

Then assign a playlist to each zone.

5. Build content

  • Add media (images, videos, etc.) in Media.
  • Create a playlist and add slides pointing at that media.
  • Attach the playlist to the screen’s zone(s).

6. Publish

Use Publish on the screen (or Preview & publish). The TV app will download the latest configuration and start playing.

Tip: If content does not appear, check last seen / online status for the screen, confirm publish completed, and restart the player if needed.
