Playlists & slides
A playlist is an ordered list of slides. Each slide points at one media item and has a duration (how long it shows before advancing).
Creating playlists
- Create a new playlist with a name.
- Add media by selecting items from your library (one media item per slide in most cases).
- Set duration per slide where the product allows (seconds).
Slide order
- Slides play in order (often with an ordinal / position index).
- Use reorder controls in the playlist detail view to change the sequence.
Editing and maintenance
- Rename playlists from the list or detail view.
- Remove slides you no longer need.
- Change duration to tune total loop time—see also free playlist duration tools on the marketing site if you plan timing offline.
Using playlists on screens
Playlists are attached to zones on a screen in the layout editor. One zone plays one playlist at a time (multi-zone layouts play multiple playlists in parallel).
